How to make Nussecken
To make the hazelnut corner nussecken, first knead egg yolk, granulated sugar, margarine, vanilla and baking powder by hand in a deep bowl.
Flour is added to the mixture with a spoon little by little and kneaded until it is collected.
If necessary, 1-2 more tablespoons of flour are added to get a soft dough.
The cookie dough obtained is put in the refrigerator and rested for 1 hour.
To prepare the hazelnut paste, margarine, granulated sugar, water and vanilla are put in a pot.
After a stone boils on the stove, it is removed from the stove and hazelnuts are added and left to cool.
Put two egg whites and a pinch of salt in a bowl and whisk it with the help of a mixer until a snow-white foam is obtained.
Gradually foaming egg whites are added into the cooled hazelnut mixture and mixed with a spoon from bottom to top.
The rested dough is taken out of the refrigerator and placed in a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
The dough is spread on the tray with the help of a roller and it is pierced in 2-3 places with the help of fork.
Apricot marmalade is spread on the dough and the prepared hazelnut paste is poured on the marmalade and spread evenly.
It is cooked in a preheated 175 ° oven for 30-35 minutes on average.
After being taken from the oven, it is immediately sliced into a square and each square is cut diagonally to form a triangle again and left to cool.
200 grams of chocolate is placed in a bowl and placed on a kettle filled with boiling water on the stove.
Chocolates are melted by mixing in water vapor (make sure that no water gets into the bowl)
The ends of the triangles are dipped in a boiler-like melted chocolate.
Prepared hazelnut corner nussecken is served after the chocolate is frozen.
With these measurements, I obtained a total of 48 triangles.
