Maamoul Recipe with Date
Date, which is good for cardiovascular diseases, is a delicious food store. It is possible to fit one or a large snack into a single bite. But this time we placed this single bite in a delicious cookie dough that crumbles in the mouth. In fact, we wanted to host this tiny cookie, which is loved by the Arabian cuisine, to our kitchen.
Ingredients for Dates Recipe
For Date Puree:
- 10-15 pieces dates
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
For Cookie Dough:
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 pack margarine or unsalted butter
- ½ cup corn starch
- 1 glass of water Milk
- ¹ egg
- 1 teaspoon vinegar

How to Make Date Products Recipe?
Preparation of Date Puree:
Soak the dates in hot water for 15-20 minutes.
Peel off the thin skins and remove the seeds using a knife.
Chop it into cubes and mix it with cinnamon and brown sugar on the stove until it boils. Add 1 coffee cup of water and puree with the help of a blender. Let the mash cool.
Preparation of Cookie Dough:
Sift the flour into a large bowl.
Add the margarine and knead with your fingertips.
Add the baking powder, vanilla, starch and powdered sugar.
After all the dry ingredients are mixed with the margarine, add the milk and eggs. Add the vinegar and knead until the dough is smooth.
Wrap it in cling film and rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Set the oven to 165 degrees.
Prepare the resting dough as a plum-sized, round meringue.
Thin the meringues with bacon with your fingers.
Fill the purees with the help of a spoon.
Close it as a bundle and roll it up. Thin the filled dough you rolled by pressing it with a six-shaped glass.
Arrange it on a tray lined with greaseproof paper and bake for 10 minutes without taking too much color.
When it cools slightly out of the oven, sift powdered sugar and serve it. That’s it, bon appetit!
