- 2 cups of milk
- 1 packet of sourdough
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 150 grams of butter (also liquid oil)
- 2 eggs (1 for above yellow)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 5 cups flour
- 1 handful Turkish Delight
How to Make Turkish Delight Kifla Recipe?
Heat the milk until it’s warm. Let’s add yeast and sugar and mix well so that they melt.
Add the melted and cooled butter (oil) and eggs. Let’s make it collapse.
Finally, let’s add flour and salt little by little and knead a soft, non-stick dough.
Cover it and wait for about 1 hour to ferment.
Roll out the dough about half a centimeter thick with the help of a roller.
Cut triangle pieces. Let’s put a piece of Turkish delight on the wide part and wrap it like a roll.
Put them on the baking tray and let them ferment for another half hour.
Spread egg yolk on them. You can also sprinkle with sugar if you wish.
Bake in a preheated oven until 180 degrees.
