Ingredients for Spinach Pie Recipe
For the cake:
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tea glass milk
- 1 teacup of oil
- 2.5 cups flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 300 grams of spinach

- 3 cups of cheese
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 water glass whipped cream (in powder form)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 10 strawberries

We whisk Labneh Cheese, whipped cream, powdered sugar and milk in a large bowl until it reaches a smooth consistency. While we are preparing our spinach sponge cake, the cream will wait in the refrigerator to get a thicker consistency.
Throw the spinach in boiling water. After waiting 15-20 seconds, we drain the water and transfer it to a bowl. It is useful to add cold, ice water and cool it. So we won’t lose that green color.
Take the cooled spinach into rondo. Add some milk so that it crumbles beautifully. Pass the spinach through rondo until it becomes pureed.
In a deep bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until the sugar melts and the mixture becomes creamy.
We put the oil and spinach puree into the egg and sugar mixture and mix.
After sifting the flour into the mixture, we feed it into the mixture with the help of a sptaula.
After whisking it well with a mixer for the last time, we put our spinach sponge cake mixture into our greased clamp mold.
We cook in a preheated 170 degree oven for the first 20 minutes without ever opening the oven door. Then, with the help of a toothpick, we check whether it is cooked or not. If it is not cooked, we cook it for another 10-15 minutes.
After our sponge cake comes out of the oven, we shave the top. We pass the cakes from this section through the rondo as we will evaluate them on the cake.
After dividing it in half, add the cream in the middle and spread it well.
Put the second layer on it and spread the cream again. We sprinkle the cake scraps from the rondo.
