How to Make Domed Cake Recipe?
First of all, to prepare the cake, beat the eggs together with the granulated sugar with the help of a mixer for about 5 minutes until they become foam.
Then add the oil, flour, cocoa, baking powder and mix all the ingredients well with a spoon.
Cover the bottom of a small round baking tray with greaseproof paper and pour the cake dough you have prepared into the tray.
Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 20 minutes.
While the cake is baking, prepare the pudding. Put all the ingredients for the custard, except the butter, into the pan and mix until it boils. When the pudding becomes darker and the eye becomes visible, reduce the bottom and cook for 1-2 more minutes, turn off the bottom of the stove and add the butter.
Stir it until the butter has melted and set aside to warm.
When the cake comes out of the oven becomes warm, cut it in half with a knife. Place a piece of the cake that you cut in half into a round and deep bowl by pressing it while the cake is still warm. You should choose a suitable container for it to take the shape of a dome.
After placing a piece of the cake, pour the warm pudding into it and cover the remaining piece of cake.
In this way, cover it with cling film, put it in the refrigerator and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours.
For the top; Take the cream into a saucepan and heat it to boiling point, being careful never to boil it. Add the chocolates and melt by stirring constantly. So your ganache is ready.
Take the cake you took out of the refrigerator by turning it upside down on a serving plate and pour the ganache on it.
Slice and serve after cooling.
